An interesting but fun session today

I had the pleasure of photographing some unusual animals today. At least they were unusual to what I normally do. It was fun. There was a Green Cheeked Conure, two colorful frogs, and two Bearded Dragon babies. The conure kept flying off my posing area, and the green frog kept jumping off and onto the floor. the frogs look like rubber toys, but they were real. But I got it done. Here's a few of the shots from today...

A New Session at the CareMore Facility

Hi folks, I'm a bit slow at getting these posts posted. I just finished a new session at CareMore Health Care Facility today and these are some of the images. I'll be doing another session there next month also, so there will be more new photos then.


That isn't all of them, but it is most of them and I don't want to wear you out looking at them. LOL I so love photographing dogs and cats, and just animals in general. I may be photographing a Bearded Dragon on Friday. If I get that one done, I'll be sure to  post some of the photos here for you to see.

I was fortunate enough to be choosen to be the photographer for this lovely young woman, to do her maternity portraits. She was extremely cooperative and tried to relax while being continually kicked in the belly. Little Dominic was making a scene all his own. LOL Here are a few examples from that session...

A Great day at CareMore

Hi all,

I had a really great time at CareMore Health Plan facility this past Friday photographing the pets people brought in by customers of CareMore.

My first subject was a Desert Tortoise named "Speedy". :) Here's Speedy...

After Speedy, all the rest were dogs. From chihuahua's up to a German Shephard.
The German Shephard is a beautiful dog. He had been a stray with no tags or any kind of identification. The lady tried to find his owner with no success, so she kept him. He loves people, but not other dogs. We almost had a bad situation due to a lady bringing a small dog at about the same time. But we averted the potential tragic situation and I got my portraits taken. Here's Buddy...

These others were cute little guys. Some with some distinctive characteristics all their own. For instance, another Buddy here with one floppy ear...

Then comes this cute little fella. She was a poser and a half but so cute. Here's Gigi...

These are just a small sampling of the dogs I photographed on Friday. I have so much fun doing this. Meeting all the really cool dogs and their interesting owners. I love my job!!!

Getting Ready...

Tomorrow will be a super busy day. Getting ready for the big shoot at Care More Health Plan facility on Friday. I have tons to get packed up to take up there and set up ahead of time. They changed my start time from 9:30 to 8:30, so I'm setting up tomorrow. Then on Friday I'll just have to take my camera, printer and laptop and I'll be good to go.
Very, very excited! Getting more excited all the time. (despite a few bumps in the road that I'm not letting get me down!)

The day is drawing near...

We're getting closer to the scheduled event with CareMore Health Care facility in Apple Valley. Its this friday beginning at 9:30am. I'm excited. It will be a lot of fun meeting all the animals and their owners on that day. I'll post some of the images from the sessions here after I get them done.
